We offer garden consultations, garden installations, and garden refreshes. We answer your questions, we help you to know what kinds of foods and plants will do well in your landscape.
We help you to understand your soil and current growing conditions. 

If you’re wanting more hands-on support, we will even design and install the entire garden with you or for you. 

Our home gardening methods are ecological and beyond organic. With a gardening partner like us by your side, you can trust that you’re not only building your food growing capacity, but you’ll be doing so in ways that are sustainable, healthy for your body, and good for the earth.

01 | Garden Consultations

A garden consultation is a 50-minute learning session held on-site at your home. Our team will familiarize ourselves with your landscape and ecosystem. We will identify the best spaces for raised beds or in-ground growing. We will note what types of plants and vegetation will do best where.

This garden consultation is for aspiring home gardeners who don’t know where to start, for new gardeners who want coaching from seasoned food growing experts, or for seasoned gardeners who want to take their garden space to the next level.

 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL HAVE AT THE END OF OUR CONSULTATION:

  • The best place in your yard to put your garden.

  • Ideas for the types of plants that will thrive in your ecosystem

  • A list of the native species in your environment. 

  • A 1-page write-up identifying our key recommendations on how you can get your home garden into the ground.

THE DETAILS:

  • Garden Consults Cost $149, to be billed at the time of booking.

  • In order to book a consult, first schedule a discovery call with Alex.

  • Once you talk to Alex, we’ll get you on the schedule for an in-person site visit.

  • Garden consults last up to 50 minutes.

  • We service the following Georgia counties: Bibb, Monroe, Lamar, Butts, Henry, Jasper, Newton, Rockdale, Fulton, Dekalb, Gwinnett, Fayette and Spalding. If your county isn’t listed, let us know and we’ll see what we can do!

 
 
 
 

02 | CULINARY GARDEN INSTALLATION

Designing and installing a garden space, big or small, is the first step towards growing your food at home. When you book Cedar Wilde for a culinary garden installation, we will design the space, source the materials (the raised beds, the soil, the soil amendments, the seedlings) and we’ll plant the garden for you. This is a highly customized offering, given that every home is unique.

 

Here is our process:

  • Book a discovery call with Alex.

  • Schedule a garden consult for us to visit your land.

  • We create a garden design and send you a quote.

  • Once you approve the quote and design, you pay a deposit to confirm the project.

  • We get to work installing your raised beds!

  • You can trust that you’re getting well-sourced materials and plants.

  • You will receive hands on support to answer questions and to explain your garden maintenance plant.

The cost of culinary garden design and installations varies depending on the size.

03 | Garden Refresh

Do you already have a growing space? Perhaps an over grown raised bed or two? We’d love to jump in and freshen it up! We’ll clear out old weeds and over grown residue from prior seasons, refresh the soil with compost and amendments, and we’ll plant new herbs, flowers, and/or vegetable starts to get your garden growing in the right direction this season.

Our rates for the garden refresh vary depending on the size of your space. Book a discovery call with Alex, and we’ll be able to get you a specific quote.
